Notary  Fees

Mobile fee - starting at $45

Printing fee - $5 plus $0.50 per page

Scanback fee - $3 + $0.25 per page

Positive ID Required

Before I notarize, I am required by law to demand personal appearance and identify all of my customers. Acceptable identification must meet the following requirements:

1. Current

2. Contains the signature OR a photograph of the individual

3. Is satisfactory to the notary

Acceptable identification includes, but is not limited to:

• A US Passport or passport card

• State-issued drivers license

• Military ID

• State, county, or local government ID

Unacceptable forms of ID

• Birth certificate

• Marriage certificate

• Social security cards

• School and library cards

• Credit & debit cards

Notary Public Fee Schedule 

The Commonwealth permits notaries public to charge the following fees for these six official acts:

 Taking acknowledgment - $5.00

  Taking acknowledgment (each additional name) - $2.00 

  Administering oath or affirmation (per individual taking oath or affirmation) - $5.00 

  Taking verification on oath or affirmation (no matter how many signatures) - $5.00 

  Witnessing or attesting a signature (per signature) - $5.00 

  Certifying or attesting a copy or deposition (per certified copy) - $5.00

  Noting a protest of a negotiable instrument (per page) - $3.00

Additional charges such as travel, clerical, or administrative fees are determined by the notary. The notary must inform the customer of the amount of each fee before performing the service. The customer should get an itemized receipt for all fees charged by the notary public.
